LEAGUE
As the Bulldogs ran onto the field you would have noticed there were no Carlyon brothers in the pack. It is the first time in 10 years we have not had one of the Carlyon boys run out. Drew is off travelling, Brad needed the week off & Liam is not too far away from his first 2009 game. Supporters were very few & far in yesterdays game. The small crowd enjoyed a hard fought out game with Towns being the victors by 11 points. Their opponents were a new look Valley side & they took it up to Towns till the final siren. The elements tested the kicking skills of both sides, resulting in 35 points scored from 56 scoring shots.  Rhys Knight celebrated his 50th game with a win. Well done Knighty.
Calib Mourish dominated in the ruck. It was the turn around of the game and the players responded by adding 8 goals in the last half.

RESERVES

Not a good day for the Reserves. With the absence of some seasoned players, the boys did go out & give it their best against a very good side in the Valley. Keep working together guys.

COLTS

A big WIN today for our Colts. Well done guys. Under very wet & windy conditions they went in hard for the ball throughout the game. They used the corridor well and went back to basic football. Great work !!
