LEAGUE
Today was a very sad day for the Towns Football Club.
Jim " Trainer " Dryden passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning.
After a minutes silence, the boys were asked to go out and play, remembering who they had the black arm band on for, and what it meant to them.
Towns asserted their dominance in the game from the beginning. They kept Northampton scoreless in the 2nd quarter. A lot of this was because Northampton went back to flooding instead of playing attacking football. It is negative football and not the best style of play for a young side. Well done Bulldogs who kept on playing hard football till the final siren.

RESERVES
The Reserves lead TFC in mourning for the loss of one of our nearest & dearest, Jim "Trainer" Dryden.Coaches Brett Kishere & Tiny Whitby initiated the 2 minute silence out of respect for a Bulldog legend. A big thank you to the Northampton FC in showing respect for a well liked and hard working man. The Reserves did try to go out and win this game but their opposition were not going to allow that. Full credit to the boys for their effort in a hard fought game. Due to lack of numbers, some of the Colts boys stepped up to get a team on the track. Thanks must go out to those players.

COLTS
Having lost the majority of their games so far this season, the Colts are still playing competitive football.  Their persistence for the ball should not be faulted. They do tend to lose their man in the game, resulting in the opposition to run free with the ball.Basic position footy and keeping on the man will help these young lads in the long run
