In a weekend of crushing victories, Bulldogs further gained their momentum towards September. For the second week running, the newly imposed zone left the opposition baffled, bringing their game to a halt. A weekly entourage of goal scorers shows the depth that the Bulldogs possess. Towns will look  forward to the week off to prepare for the finals.

The boys went out to finish their season, even though they were beaten by the second placed Valley. Flirty Jones returned to the side and showed his experience has not waned. This group of players have gradually bonded as a team and plan to be a team to reckon with next season. Brett Kishere/Tiny Whitby and their support staff have done a lot of hard work this year.  Well done to all involved.

COLTS
The Colts finished season 2009 with having only 2 wins on the scoreboard.
The game vs Valley was a forfeit but not on the behalf of the Towns Colts. This was due to lack of umpires for the game. Towns came away with the winning 4 points. The boys that were on the track week in week out must be given credit. Under the guidance of Rory Chapple, this very young group of footballers played the games out every week till the final siren. There is an abundance of talent in this group and their aim is to make a mark on football in 2010. Some of the players are under 16 and they play 2 games each week. Well done to all the Colts players. Rory Chapple and his support staff must be given a well earned handshake for their continued diligence.
