LEAGUE
Reintroducing the zone showed an unorthodox style of football against Rovers.
Time will tell if Towns can put this together as a whole. Last years zone was applied abit earlier and I am sure the coaching staff will give the players time to adapt to this.
Under very low - standard conditions, players were slipping over constantly. The major
Contributor to this would be the weather Geraldton has had in the past few weeks.
In the 3rd Q, Ruckman Tunbridge won most of the hitouts but Towns midfield failed to read the play allowing Rovers to snatch up the ball and down into their 50, getting 3 unanswered goals. All was not lost as Towns put on a 7 goal haul in the last Q.
Towns welcomed back the return of Rhys Knight after being out for 6 weeks.
Sheldon Nelly was all smiles after he was carried off the field by his team mates for his 50th game with the Bulldogs.

RESERVES
This week we sure a determined Towns side go out to win this game from the beginning.
They kept the momentum up from the first bounce and never looked back.
Some of the younger players stood up to the test along with the more experienced players.
The in of Shayne Bidwell added flair and direction in the forward line.
Sitting in 7th spot prior to this game, the Reserves aim is to move into the top 4.
Playing like they did on Saturday, I am sure they are on their way.
