LEAGUE
If memory serves me right, I think it is the first time in a decade that Towns League have lost Round 1. Towns struggled to cope with the heat and Rovers ability to win in numbers. Early injuries, Browne & Riman unsettled the team balance. It was one of the few times that we witnessed Towns not being accountable all over the field. Inaccurate kicking, not winning the majority of the taps, not reading the taps, not winning the middle in any facet cost them dearly. On a positive note, the effort of the new recruits and young Colts players ( 2 stepping up for game 3) were very good.
Ben Clune played his 50th game after being away for 2010. Well done !!
The night before we saw one of our players get married, Christopher Gutierrez.

RESERVES
A 47 point loss did not deter the Reserves, playing the game out till the end.
It is a new look side this season with some of the older players leaving the club.
Coach Kishere has a hard year ahead of him but I am sure they will get a few wins under their belt. Some of the Colts stepped up after playing a hard game in the Colts.
Paddy Whitehouse was a good return for the club. His leadership on the field should take the team to higher ground.
Noles Fab 4: Paddy Whitehouse.. Matty Whitby..Kyle Dalgety..Corey Dickerson..
COLTS
Towns Colts were very slow to start with in Sundays game.
Would be fair to say they played under hot conditions with not much of a breeze in sight.
Rovers side is a swift group of players and our junior 16's in the team could not match it with their opposition. Declan Parsons debut into the senior level of football was quite a good one for him. He showed a lot of promise.
Towns 4th Q was their best, out kicking Rovers but was not enough on the day.
