From the initial centre bounce the Bulldogs went into action and booted 10 goals in the first Q, allowing the Valley only 1 major. Baynes started attack on those big white posts and others followed suit. Sticking with the trend, Baynes bagged another 8 goals to add to his very impressive tally to date.
In the 2nd Q, the Valley Snuck in a couple of quick goals but it was due to their inaccurate kicking that kept Towns alive in the first half. Valley had the use of the ball 60% of this Q.
THE IN FORM Leon "Flirty" Jones was a general on the field, giving good direction and setting up a few goals, whilst adding 4 to his own tally. He showed good leadership to the young players.
The Bulldogs blew the scoreboard wide open again in the 3rd adding 54 points. This was the winning Q - as usually is in football. Marianna wanted to steal back that lime light from his fellow Bulldog Baynes in the goal kicking but was 2 short. He has been in fine form of late and plays like a man in 21 yr old legs.
The last Q saw the ball go into The Towns forward zone only 2 times in the first 15 mins. The Valley keep that wall up and Towns found it hard to knock down for some time.
Once that wall fell, they went through it like a steam train in a tunnel.
Bulldogs have a game this Saturday vs Rovers out at Greenough Oval then they can accept a 2 week break.
The coach will welcome this to recap, regroup and recover from the past injuries that are looming over their heads.
HOPE TO SEE EVERYONE UP AT CLUB AFTER ROVERS GAME FOR THE UNVEILING OF NEW HONOUR BOARDS..
Noles Fab 4: Leon Jones.. Liam Carlyon.. Rick Marianna.. Willy Thorne

RESERVES
The score board may have shown the Bulldogs going down by 40 points but that didn't show on the field. They kept up with Valley in most parts and played hard all through.
One newcomer Graham Farrell was a hard - in & under player. His 1 %ers were second to none.
Noles Fab 4: Graham Farrell.. Cobber Headland.. Matt Brockman.. Ian Taylor..

COLTS
Both sides went out equally having 4 numbers down for each club.
Greg Cross jnr & Dylan Whitby Taylor were the generals on the field, giving direction the their team mates, but, it was not to be rewarded with the young Bulldogs coming out defeated once again. Cleave Narkle would have been BOG in the first half, dimming somewhat in the latter half. He used his strengths in the most part, also taking some good one handers. Having 8 scoring shots less than their opposition becomes a task on its own and running out of legs in the last Q beat them.
