UNDER 16's -Towns v Chapman Valley at Wonthella

You win some; you loose some and this one we lost.
We got behind from the first bounce and seemed to stay that way all game. To give credit to Chapman valley they did reach the Grand final last year so they were worthy opponents.
Chapman Valley were first to the ball on many occasions making our boys look rather flat and lethargic all game.
We were missing a few of our small running players especially in the centre so the feed to the forward line dried up. Graham Adams managed to kick 3, Jason Bethune, Sadiq Miska and best on ground for his run all game Eddie Cooyou kicked one each. 6 goals all game was not enough to match the 14 that Chapman Valley scored.
We did receive our second Red card for the season: an automatic two weeks suspension that leaves the team a bit undermanned.
Please remember your actions on the ground are part of a team sport and therefore your inappropriate behaviour affects everyone.

Our next game has been moved to WONTHELLA on 23.05.09 against Railways White.
