A brave effort with a VERY UNDERMANNED team- 8 of our regular
players had other commitments.
We were only able to put 16 players on the oval – St
Pats in good sportsmanship matched our numbers and had the
headache of managing a large bench (so they had fresh legs).
We lost Jordan Harding very early in the second quarter with
a nasty ankle injury. No broken bones but ligament damage
that will take time to heal. Great effort for the day Jordan
and we wish you a speedy recovery.
This left us with only 15 on the field no subs and a team
with 16 on the field and 8 on their bench so to loose by only
on point although disappointing was a fantastic effort.
Shannon Woods had an outstanding game from start to finish;
Dylan Whitby- Taylor (watch this name) does some amazing things.
Declan Parsons worked hard all day. Shane Hatch has slotted
nicely into our team and bagged himself a couple of goals.
Tim Hamilton who I have watched for 8 year has stepped up
so well this year and has taken on a defensive role with great
maturity.
